I have appointment setting services available. I currently have room to schedule for 7 more agents. I have a team of 5 appointment setters, including myself and have been scheduling life insurance appointments for agents with NAA, Consolidated, Equita, NAG, etc... for over 3 years.

If you are interested in our services; please, email us and we will give you more details.

Thank you and happy selling!

I recommend you post some more details (prices, closing rations for agents, number of leads they should expect, lines of business, or anything that sets you apart from other lead setting services).

Sure, I am posting below a copy of the current contract we use with our agents. On average we set 10 prequalified appointments for every 25 leads. It used to be more but in the last 6 months that is our average. Out of those 10 appointments, our agents who are making 6 figure incomes will typically close 8 of the 10 but new agents usually close 5 to 6. As I am sure you are all aware; the sale comes from a good closer. We do everything we can to warm the client up for the appointment but if you aren't a good closer; even having an appointment setter won't help you. We work primarily with mortgage life protection and the average sale is $600 annual premium per applicant so a seasoned agent will make roughly $8400.00 off of every 10 appointments we make, assuming they are husband and wife appointments. Having said that; we believe our services are well worth the cost. If we don't set our agents up to succeed; we don't succeed, either. It is definitely a partnership.
Here is the contract: **NOTE** this contract is negotiable depending on the # of agents that use our services in your office.

Appointment Setting Contract

We pre-qualify and schedule the appt. according to the amount of time that you need and the amount of time needed geographically to get there. You will need to let me know the medical issues and ages that you are unable to write.

We require that you set up a yahoo calendar, ID and password in order to post your appointments.
It is your responsibility to check this calendar daily and to black out times that you are not available. We will schedule your appointments according to the available times on your calendar

The work week goes from Monday through Sunday with payment due on the following Monday. You will be invoiced for services on Monday morning. Feel free to reach us on Monday from 12:00 Noon through Saturday at 12:00 Noon.

For the first 90 days, there is a deposit of $_350.00 due at the beginning of each week that you will be working. This covers the first 10 SAT appointments. The balance for SOLD appts. will be due on the following Monday. This will ensure us of payment prior to getting to know and trust each other. After 90 days, you will be on a credit basis with payment due on the Monday after your workweek.

Our fee is $_35.00 per SAT appointment, $_50.00 for a sale, $_50.00 Bonus for 10 appts. and $_100.00 Bonus for 15 appts. that are set within a week. A SAT appointment is when the client is home and you go into their home and talk about insurance whether you sell them or not. If there is only one party at home, you can choose to reschedule but if you present insurance details it is considered a SAT appointment.

If the appointment is a NO SHOW, there will be a $_10.00 fee for setting the appointment. We will make every effort to reschedule that appointment. If we are able to reschedule the appointment, the remaining fee will be $_25.00 or if it SELLS then the remaining fee will be $_40.00.

If the appointment CANCELS, there will be a $_10.00 fee for setting the appointment. We will make every effort to re-schedule that appointment and if we are able to reschedule that appointment, the remaining SAT fee balance is $_25.00 or if it SELLS then the remaining fee will be $_40.00.

Also, if you do not sit on the appointment because you had to cancel regardless of the reason then it is still considered a SAT or paid appointment.
If you are going out of town and cancel your trip for ANY reason, you will be required to pay us $15.00 each for half of the appointments we set i.e. if we set 10 appointments and you cancel your trip you will owe us $75.00.

We have a paypal account that you can deposit funds into on Monday, even if you do not have your own paypal account. Simply log into www.paypal.com and click send money. My paypal is nka_24@yahoo.com
You will receive your invoices from our paypal account to the email address that you provide to us.

Please e-mail you’re A leads as soon as you get them before your work week/weekend so that we can fill your week/weekend as full as possible. That gives you the maximum chance of having a successful week/weekend. Sending leads 24 hours before an out of town trip IS NOT SUFFICIENT TIME to fill your weekend.

We expect that at the end of each day containing appointments that you call or e-mail me letting me know which appointments SAT and/or SOLD.
Also, if you require that we keep a log or status of each call made for each lead, there is an additional charge of $1.00 per lead name.
We also do not make calls for B leads as they have proven to not be lucrative.
Upon request, we can provide references of other agents that are currently using our services.
We look forward to the opportunity to make your business a success!

I just want to also add that we can do final expense, traditional term, whole life, universal life, etc... We do not set health insurance appointments anymore because of the closing ratio being so poor. I completely believe that health is a phone based sale and travelling to meet with potential exclusive health customers is not lucrative to either us or the agent. Most of our agents do present health along with their other products, though.

Website doesn't match provided service. Despite that, I rate it a "5."

Therefore, insist on a $100 service credit without giving out any credit card or Paypal information. If, after the $100 of service is acceptable, arrange a short-term agreement only.

I'm going to attempt to give your reply some type of attention.

The website isn't for this service. It is another company that I own and I have email accounts on. I don't need a website to set appointments for agents. I have been doing it for 3 years and my experience and reputation with the agents I book for is impeccable.
You rate what a "5"?
What exactly do you mean by a $100.00 service credit?
Paypal doesn't give vendors customer's credit card information or access to their payapl account. Paypal is the safest way to make payments online, in my opinion.
Your reply is evasive so if you could explain to me what you mean; perchance, I could provide you with an actual answer.

Hello. The $100 credit I mentioned is that new customers should be able to receive $100 worth of service before deciding if they want to sign up.

This is a must.

I have to disagree with you. Do you work for free? We tried to do things like that before and got burned. I don't see it as being a "must" if we have references that our new clients can call upon i.e. we started working with an agent out of Georgia who begged us to waive the $350 deposit. He sent us 40 leads, some of them over 5 months old. We got him 25 appointments, scheduled them according to his availability on his calendar and he had one excuse after another why he didn't make it to his appointments. When we demanded that we get paid, as agreed in our contract; he disappeared. It's not fun working for 12 hours and not getting paid. Get burned once, shame on you, get burned twice, shame on me. We just can't do it.

I'll weigh in here as well. I understand the request for a free trial type of thing, but there's two things to consider.

In the lead generation industry all you have to do is look around to see that there's a lot of junk. Agents pay money and don't get what they're looking for. So they want a bit of a test to confirm they're getting what they expect.

Conversely, there's a lot of agents out there (not to generalize this to everyone, but dealing with agents is a tough market) that will ride you out for free trials, or never pay and never have any intention of paying. Vendors eventually will look at the lack of a free trial as a way of qualifying the leads - getting rid of the freeloaders. And that's what Louise is pointing out.

As someone who sells services to agents, I do offer occassional free trials, but would be just as happy not offering it. I don't think the numbers make it worth my while generally. And I guess after spending a lot of time discussing my services, at the end of the conversation if 100 bucks is a barrier then my attitude is to move along, call my competitors. I appreciate that's a bit harsh - but it's what has to be done to manage the volume one would see without that attitude.

So there's justification for a request to prove the leads by offering a free trial, but the makeup of the marketplace has basically forced the vendors to stop the freebies. In fact if you look around most of the quality services don't have free trials. They're busy enough without it.

Very good points Glenn.

I guess it's an individual decision. Nonetheless....especially with appointment setters, get a free trial.

Just my opinion though.
